    Heater Control Valve

    The heater control valve regulates the flow of hot coolant into the heater core, allowing precise control of cabin temperature. By opening and closing based on climate control commands, it determines how much thermal energy enters the HVAC system. Accurate valve operation is essential for temperature stability, energy efficiency, and proper climate regulation.

    When the heater control valve fails, coolant flow becomes uncontrolled or completely blocked. This results in constant hot air regardless of temperature setting, no cabin heat at all, or unstable temperature fluctuations. Valve failure can also cause internal coolant leaks, pressure imbalance, and climate control system fault codes.
