    The radiator mounting secures the radiator in its precise operating position within the engine bay, ensuring correct alignment with cooling fans, air ducts, and the radiator support frame. It isolates vibration from the engine and road surface while maintaining stable airflow across the cooling core. Proper mounting is essential for efficient heat dissipation, structural stability, and long-term cooling system reliability.

    When radiator mountings degrade due to rubber hardening, material fatigue, or impact damage, the radiator can shift, vibrate excessively, or come into contact with surrounding components. This leads to hose stress, coolant leaks, fan interference, and accelerated wear on the radiator core. In severe cases, a loose radiator risks catastrophic cooling failure and engine overheating.
